Terms of Service

In effect from 1 November 2026

These terms cover the games made by Heavenbound Games: Heavenbound, a cultivation game played through a Discord app, and Aldremar, a role-playing game played in Discord and in its Activity window, with their websites and stores. By adding either app, using its commands or windows, or buying from its store, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't play.

Hollow Sky has its own Terms and Privacy Notice, which are the ones that apply to it.

Who can play

You need a Discord account, and you must be old enough to hold one where you live. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission before buying anything from a store.

Playing fairly

• Don't use bots, scripts, macros or other automation to play, beyond a game's own features.
• Don't exploit bugs. If you find one, report it in that game's Discord server.
• Don't harass other players, and follow Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines everywhere the games run.
• Don't sell, trade or give away your account, your characters or anything in them for real money or anything else outside the game.

Breaking these rules can get your progress reset, your items removed, or your access to a game taken away, with or without warning.

Your characters and items

Characters, currencies, items, titles and everything else in a game are part of that game. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and aren't your property. Each game keeps changing: numbers get rebalanced, features change or end, and anything in a game can be adjusted, including things you bought, as long as the store's promises below still hold.

The stores

• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or keep your card details.
• Purchases are credited to the Discord account you signed in with, usually within seconds.
• Every item says what it gives before you pay. Anything drawn at random has its odds published.
• Monthly subscriptions renew each month until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next payment, and the month you paid for still runs to its end.
• Refunds: ask the staff in that game's Discord server. A refunded or charged-back purchase is taken back in game.

Heavenbound

• Spirit stones can only be earned by playing and can't be bought or cashed out. Games at the Toad's Mouth use spirit stones only, never real money.
• Sealed packs and Heaven's Favor are drawn at random. Their odds are printed on their store cards, and each has purchase or claim limits that are also shown there.
• Monthly sponsorship is a monthly subscription, as above.

Aldremar

• Aldremar can be played from any Discord server that adds it, in the Main World or in a world a server founds. A server's managers choose which world it plays; whoever founds a world may remove servers from it or close it, and its characters and saves are kept.
• Your character belongs to your Discord account. You can delete it yourself at any time (Start over, in the window).
• The Guild Counter is Aldremar's store. The Weaver's Stipend and Auto Battle are monthly subscriptions, as above. Nothing sold is a guarantee of a particular roll: the Loom's odds are published in the game.
• Aldremar is in beta. It may be reset for testing; we will say so in its Discord server's announcements before anything is wiped.

Things you write

Names, lines, chat messages and anything else you write into a game can be shown to other players. Don't write anything hateful, sexual, or that belongs to somebody else. We can edit, refuse or remove anything written into a game.

Availability

The games are provided as they are. They can go down, lose data, or change without notice, and we don't promise they will always be available. To the extent the law allows, Heavenbound Games isn't liable for losses from using them or from not being able to use them, beyond refunding what you paid for a purchase that never arrived.

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top says when they last did, and playing after a change means you accept the new version.
